Hey Y’all!
Halloween is almost here, and you already know we gotta bring a little Glo to spooky season!
This Friday, I’m dropping my very own tribute look to, and for….Can anyone guess? Looks like you might just have to wait until Friday…
In the meantime, we wanted to celebrate this years, “Día de los Muertos” by creating a BTS reel of creating an inspired look to honor 3,000 years of rituals for the “dead” (“Day of the Dead”), as celebrated in pre-Columbian Mesoamerica.
But this one is about more than makeup.
One thing I want GloVerse to always stand for is celebrating ALL people, ALL races, ALL cultures, ALL nationalities and ALL genders. Beauty belongs to everybody, and there's so much we can learn from the different traditions, creativity and cultures that make our world special.
Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a beautiful Mexican tradition honoring loved ones who have passed. We wanted to recognize that heritage, celebrate the incredible artistry behind the makeup and share a little more of its meaning with y’all.
Because GloVerse isn’t just about how you look. It's about who you are, where you come from and what makes you YOU.
